The story of its birth goes back in time, in 1600, and precisely in Emilia Romagna. Its history is particular and fascinating. Originally the antique sideboard was born as a low and long piece of forniture, usually placed in banquet halls, where all the foods were displayed on it, arranged in plain sight, to be offered to guests for diners.
Over the years, it has evolved, taking on various shapes and equipping itself with doors, drawers and even glass. Today the antique sideboard in mainly used as a piece of furniture to exhibit sterlinware, porcelain as well as dish sets and food.
